Feeling Sightly Productive

It is shortly after 12 noon.  I have:  done breakfast, exercised, full morning of school, laundry, vaccuumed house, cleaned room,  cooked a BIG lunch, and still managed to get a shower and even iron the pants I put on.  Never say a stay at home mom doesn't work her tail off.  But it is all good.  I am about to feed 4 smiling, happy faces.  And that just makes me happy.

All Three Boys Ready for Soccer

Trust me when I tell you the shoes tell it all.  This is a perfect description of my boys personality.  All three are now signed up for Spring soccer.  I am sure it will be very very eventful.  Sam is playing......need I say more.  Check out the dudes cleats.  I wansn't about to try to talk him out of them.  They are a perfect fit for my sweet, care free, second born son.  Our life would be SO SO SO boring without him.  Let the party begin!!!!!!!!

A day at the Hair Dresser!!

Molly before a day at the Spa!!

Molly after a day at the Spa!!!

Ok, I am not a dog abuser.  Molly's hair was so tangled I couldn't even brush her.  She is getting fixed next week so we decided to get her a new do.  And when they brought her out, I didn't even recognizer her.  I don't think she knows what to think about herself.  It did reveal what we thought was a rather large dog is only a 42 pound baby.  I hope it grows quick.

Boys will be Boys

The more I think about that statement, the more I agree with it.  (by the way, I can't believe I am saying that)  I was the mother when Hamilton was born who said we will never have a play gun in the house.  No one bothered to tell me that boys are going to make everything a weapon, so it wasn't a matter of me introducing one to them.  Boys honestly have this inate desire to fight, shoot, and blow up things.   Instead of seeing this as a hard, terrible thing, I really have begun to stop and thank God for it.  For if he created man and women with the same drives and desires, we would probably kill each other.  I understand that my boys have a crazy amount of energy that need to be released on a daily basis.  I really try to offer them as much outside run and be crazy time as possible.  Because I have three boys, my new mission, really not so new, is to buy a house on property.  I really want them to just have space to be.  Not to be confined to a neighborhood.  But a place where they can learn to be a man, shoot a gun, climb trees, seek adventure, etc.

Now to the picture.  This past weekend Hamilton and I took a weekend trip to Mobile.  My Dad had a bb gun waiting on him when we got there.  My dad taught him how to aim and shoot and about gun safety.  Now, Hamilton wasn't out hunting or killing but the coke cans he was shooting down brought that kids some serious satisfaction.  He is still talking about learning to shoot a real gun.  Thanks Dad for helping to teach my boys how to be men.  Their next adventure is a camping trip my Dad is planning for the Spring.  Oh the fun the future holds having a house full of boys.  I am so blessed.

Fun Times

These boys make me laugh.  This is what we do when we are board and Daddy's working late.  I love pictures that show my boys true personality and these do.  They are just fun, wild, and full of energy.  I missed the picture of them attacking the dog with "snow balls".  I don't think she was super thrilled about that, but they thought it was hilarious.

A boy and His Dog

This is the boys new dog Molly.  We have had her since May.  Although she drive us crazy, there really is nothing like a boy and his dog.  She follows them around everywhere,  lays at Hamilton feet while he does school, and eats anything the boys leave on the table. (including two dozen chocolate chip cookies I had cooling on the counter last week)  And I really think she thinks she is one of them.

Oh Yes He Did!!!!

I love my husband but he did leave the boys and I in Mobile to fly to California for the National Championship game.  I really am so glad he got to go, but it will be the last time he goes without me.

Day After Christmas at Anna's

Lot's of eating!!

Cute Ellie!!!  Oh my goodness I love that baby!

Dirty Santa

Karaoke......I told my mom you know you are a redneck if you karaoke at your family Christmas party.  It really was alot of fun though!!!  Lots of laughs.  And the kids thought it was great.

Of coarse Aunt Gigi leading the madness.  I am surprised she had a voice the following day.  She sang every song that came on.  She is crazy and our family would not be the same without her.  Actually it would be quite boring.

There is nothing like my entire family getting together.  It really could be made into a comedy movie.  At times, Kris just sat back and laughed.  It is crazy.  I LOVE being with everyone.  And my boys LOVE being with their cousins.  Fun times had by all.

Christmas Day 2009

We had an amazing Christmas.  It was the year of four wheelers, wii's, lionel trains, rubber band guns, swords, nintendo DS's, etc.  Basically you name it and the boys got it.  My parents and Kris's parents were so gracious in their gift giving and Santa helping this year.  It made for a huge Christmas.  There are no words to express how much we appreciate our parents.   We are now enjoying all the new toys and games.  For the first time I can ever remember the boys are happy to entertain themselves (without fighting).  It really has been quite nice.  We shall see how long that last.
