Easter Sunday Pics Before Church

~Easter Fun~

Friday the boys and I dyed Easter eggs. Hamilton and Jack ended up with orange hands for a few days. Saturday we had a backyard egg hunt. I think Addie (our German Shepherd) ended up with all of the real eggs. I love Spring, the warmer weather, and just being able to be outside with the family. It just makes me happy.

Blue Angels

A few weekends ago the Blue Angels were in t-town. I was suppose to be working a consignment sales all day, but Kris graciously took off Friday (to allow me to put in my hours then) so we could all go to the air show on Saturday. I was a little worried because Samuel does not do loud noises, but he really did great. Notice in the pictures he has ear plugs in!!! I was amazed how faced paced the show was. There was never a dull moment so the kids never got board. Fun family Saturday. We would love to do it again!!!

INSECTS

The boys and I started studying insects today in Science. I found this great website and thought it was too good not to share. We all LOVED it. Check it out.

On the Brighter Side....

.......or not. I just cannot seem to get the boys well. Jackson was treated for Bronchitis and an ear infection last Friday. Tuesday, Hamilton came down with pink eye. For almost two weeks now Samuel has been coughing his lungs up. Hamilton started with that also last Friday. So today after Hamilton vomited from coughing so much last night, I decided it was time for a family trip to the doc........pneumonia. Yes, Hamilton and Samuel both have pneumonia. Hamilton seems to be sicker with it than Samuel. He is wheezing pretty bad. After filling 7 prescriptions (in a week), co-pays, whiny kids, along with multiple other things going on in our life right now the brighter side seems pretty far away.

NCAA BASKETBALL

I walked into my room the other night and this is what I found. Four boys very intently watching Alabama's last game of the year. The grim faces are because Alabama was losing.

School News!

When we started this school year, I was unsure about how schooling Hamilton with two other needy children in the house would work. But I am thrilled to say it has been wonderful. I have learned to be less anal and schedule oriented. Don't get me wrong, we still have a tight schedule, but I am a lot more flexible now than I was in Aug. Hamilton is learning to work more independently which helps a lot. Jackson and Samuel join in more often than not and Hamilton enjoys helping them. We started a few weeks ago listening to classical music while we work and we love it. The boys seems so much calmer when it is on. This morning Samuel reminded me to turn on the "school music". So we are committing to another year of homeschooling. Next year Sam will be officially added to the role. I am so blessed to be able to invest my time and energy all day everyday into my boys. They are so worth it.

Happy Birthday Papa!!!

My parents are so good to us and we are blessed to have them. The boys adore them. Happy Day Papa.

Famous Words From My Mother.

Don't let someone else's foolishness drag you down a path of sin.
